लखनऊ: यमुना एक्सप्रेसवे के किनारे बन रही आगामी फिल्म सिटी परियोजना की निगरानी के लिए यमुना एक्सप्रेसवे औद्योगिक विकास प्राधिकरण (वाईईआईडीए) ने एक इंजीनियरिंग एजेंसी और चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंट फर्मों की नियुक्ति हेतु निविदाएं आमंत्रित की हैं, एक सरकारी अधिकारी ने यह जानकारी दी। इस कदम से संकेत मिलता है कि परियोजना निर्माण चरण में प्रवेश कर चुकी है।
सेक्टर-21 में विकसित की जा रही अंतर्राष्ट्रीय फिल्म सिटी 1,000 एकड़ में फैली हुई है। परियोजना जून 2028 तक पूरी होने वाली है। यह परियोजना उत्तर प्रदेश को फिल्म निर्माण और मनोरंजन उद्योग के एक प्रमुख केंद्र के रूप में स्थापित करने और उत्तर प्रदेश की सांस्कृतिक पहचान को मजबूत करने का राज्य का एक प्रयास है।
फिल्म सिटी को मीडिया और मनोरंजन क्षेत्र के लिए एक एकीकृत केंद्र के रूप में विकसित किया जा रहा है, जिसमें अत्याधुनिक फिल्म स्टूडियो, शूटिंग फ्लोर, पोस्ट-प्रोडक्शन यूनिट और एक फिल्म विश्वविद्यालय शामिल हैं।
